We started GeoCam because we wanted to photograph weddings the way we actually enjoy experiencing them.
Not as a series of poses.
Not as a production where everyone disappears for three hours to have their photograph taken.
And definitely not as a day where you spend more time with your photographer than your mates.
We want you to enjoy your wedding.
We'll give you some direction when it will make a brilliant photograph. We'll organise the family photographs so nobody's Uncle Dave disappears when it's time for the group shot. And then we'll get out of the way.
Because the best stuff usually happens when nobody is thinking about the camera.
What we look for.
We're drawn to good light, interesting places, movement, atmosphere and people being themselves.
Sometimes that's a carefully composed portrait.
Sometimes it's your mum crying during the ceremony.
Sometimes it's your best mate dancing like they've just won the lottery.
We want both the beautiful photographs and the completely ridiculous ones.
Scotland is a pretty good place to do this.
We're based in Scotland and photograph weddings across Central, West and South Scotland, as well as further afield.
We're particularly drawn to old buildings, dramatic landscapes, big skies, bad weather and venues with a bit of character.
Luckily, Scotland has plenty of all five.
A little more about us.
We're a couple, so we know what it's like to be on the other side of the camera.
We're also parents, dog people and firm believers that wedding suppliers should be people you'd actually want to have a drink with after the speeches.
We're not particularly formal.
We are very serious about photographs.
